We installed a custom synthetic putting green in Birmingham at the clubhouse in the new Blackridge neighborhood in Hoover, offering residents and guests a premium golfing experience. The 55×60-foot green includes seven holes and three chipping areas, providing a versatile space for both putting practice and short game skills. Designed for realistic ball roll and durability, the synthetic turf closely mimics natural grass, ensuring high performance year-round. The layout features varying slopes and contours, creating a challenging yet enjoyable course that simulates a true golfing environment. This project includes designing and installing a custom synthetic putting green in Birmingham, AL, offering a realistic golfing experience for the neighborhood to enjoy. Scope of Work: Consultation & Design: We assess the site and work with the client to create a custom layout for the synthetic putting green based on their preferences and available space. Site Preparation: Our team clears, levels, and grades the area to ensure proper drainage and a smooth foundation for the green. Base Construction: We install a compacted aggregate base to provide stability and ensure optimal water runoff for long-lasting durability. Synthetic Turf Installation: Our crew lays high-quality synthetic turf, secures the edges, and ensures a smooth, even, and realistic putting surface that mimics natural grass. Contour & Hole Placement: We shape the green with custom slopes and install cups and flags as per the approved design to enhance playability and challenge.
